a sarcoma arising from collagen-producing fibroblasts.
ameloblastic fibrosarcoma
an odontogenic tumor that is the malignant counterpart to an ameloblastic fibroma, within which it usually arises. Called also ameloblastic sarcoma.
odontogenic fibrosarcoma
a malignant tumor of the jaws, originating from one of the mesenchymal components of the tooth or tooth germ, and histologically
identical with other fibrosarcomas; the malignant counterpart of odontogenic fibroma.
