(gam-opīә-the)
abnormal proliferation of the lymphoid cells producing immunoglobulins; the gammopathies include multiple myeloma, macroglobulinemia, and Hodgkin disease. Called also gammaglobulinopathy.
monoclonal gammopathies
plasma cell dyscrasias.
