Aarskog syndrome

Aarskog-Scott syndrome
(ahrs´kog skot´)
an inherited syndrome caused by a gene located on the X chromosome; its characteristics are an abnormally increased distance
between the eyes, nostrils that are tipped forward, a broad upper lip, a scrotal “shawl” above the penis, and small hands.
Called also faciogenital dysplasia and faciodigitogenital syndrome.
