urodynamics (u″ro-di-nam´iks) the dynamics of the propulsion and flow of urine in the urinary tract. Testing of urodynamics is done by injecting water or carbon dioxide into the bladder via a catheter. Bladder sensation, capacity, and strength of contraction, as well as ability to hold urine in the bladder, can thus be quantified. adj., urodynam´ic, adj.
