chronic granulocytic leukemia
chronic leukemia of the myelogenous type, occurring mainly in adults, usually associated with a unique chromosomal abnormality. The major clinical manifestations
of malaise, enlarged liver and spleen, anemia, and leukocytosis are related to unrestrained overgrowth of granulocytes in the bone marrow. Called also chronic myelocytic or chronic myeloid leukemia.
