(mal″ә-kloo´zhәn)
malposition of the teeth resulting in the faulty meeting of the teeth or jaws; this should be corrected because it predisposes
to dental caries and may lead to digestive disorders and inadequate nutrition because of difficulty in chewing. If there is facial distortion., it can have psychological effects.
