heat exhaustion
an effect of excessive exposure to heat, seen among workers in hot places such as furnace rooms and foundries and sometimes
in persons having prolonged exposure to the sun's heat. Symptoms include dizziness, headache, nausea, and sometimes delirium
or collapse. The body temperature is near normal, in contrast to heat stroke and sunstroke. Called also heat prostration.
