properties in relief of inflammatory diseases of the stomach and intestines, and as topical protectants in skin and anorectal
disorders.
bismuth subsalicylate
a bismuth salt of salicylic acid, administered orally in the treatment of diarrhea and gastric distress, including nausea, indigestion, and heartburn.
