What this drug is used for

Benzedrex temporarily relieves stuffy nose caused by the common cold, hay fever, or sinusitis (swelling and pain in the sinuses). The product comes in an inhaler.

How should you take this medication?

For adults and children 6 years and over, the usual dose is 2 sprays in each nostril every 2 hours, as needed. Do not take more often. For children under 6, seek your doctor's advice.

* STORAGE

Benzedrex may be stored at room temperature. Keep the inhaler tightly closed between uses. The medication will stay good for at least 3 months after it is first opened.

Special warnings about this medication

Do not use this product for more than 3 days. If you take Benzedrex too often or use it for longer than the recommended time, your stuffy nose may come back or get worse. If your clogged nose does not improve, call your doctor.

Benzedrex may cause temporary discomfort such as a burning sensation, runny nose, sneezing, or stinging.

Do not share your Benzedrex inhaler with anyone. It could spread infection.
