Special warnings about this medication

If irritation develops or gets worse, stop using Lamisil AT and see your doctor.

Do not use Lamisil AT on your nails or scalp; in or near your mouth or eyes; or for vaginal yeast infections. If the medication gets in your eyes, rinse thoroughly with water.

Fungal infections can be spread to others via the bathtub, shower, clothing, or towels. To reduce the chance of this, use a disinfecting cleaner regularly on the tub and shower, and wash clothing and towels with detergent, bleach, and hot water.

For athlete's foot, wear well-fitting, ventilated shoes with clean cotton socks. Change your shoes and socks at least once a day. If possible do not wear the same pair of shoes every day.

To avoid getting another fungal infection, bathe or shower daily with warm water and soap. Thoroughly dry your genital area, your feet, and the areas around your toes. Do not use the same towel to dry infected and non-infected areas.
