How should you take this medication?The usual dosage is 1 tablet every 12 hours. Do not exceed 2 tablets in 24 hours. Special warnings about this medicationSince this product may cause drowsiness, use caution when driving, and when operating machinery. Tavist Allergy Tablets may also cause excitability, especially in children. Possible food and drug interactions when taking this medicationIf you are taking a tranquilizer such as Valium or Xanax, or a sleep aid such as Halcion or Seconal, do not take this product without your doctor's approval; the combination could cause extreme drowsiness.
