What this drug is used for

Lotrimin Ultra Athlete's Foot Cream is used for the treatment of athlete's foot between the toes, jock itch, and ringworm. Lotrimin Ultra Jock Itch Cream is used for jock itch only. Both products relieve the itching, cracking, burning, scaling, and discomfort that these fungal infections can cause.

How should you take this medication?

Before applying, wash the affected area with soap and water and dry thoroughly.

* ATHLETE'S FOOT CREAM
For athlete's foot, apply to affected skin between and around the toes twice a day (morning and night) for 1 week, or once a day for 4 weeks. For jock itch, apply once a day for 2 weeks.

* JOCK ITCH CREAM
Apply once a day for 2 weeks.

* STORAGE
Store at room temperature.

Do not take this medication if...

Check with your doctor before using these products on children under 12.

Special warnings about this medication

Stop using the product and check with your doctor if too much irritation develops or irritation gets worse.

Do not use on nails or scalp, or to treat vaginal yeast infections. Avoid contact with the mouth or eyes. If medicine gets into an eye, rinse thoroughly with water. Wash hands after applying.
