If you have osteoarthritis, your symptoms may disrupt your day-to-day living. Although there is no cure, there are many ways to treat the pain and make movement easier. How You May Be Feeling
The symptoms you feel from your osteoarthritis depend on which joint or joints are affected. Symptoms also depend on how long you've had osteoarthritis and on your general health. Some of the most common signs and symptoms include:
  • Pain and stiffness in one or two joints.
  • "Noise" in the joint during movement.
  • Bony enlargement of the joint.
  • Swelling (in some cases).
  • Symptoms that come on gradually.
  • Symptoms that worsen when the joint is overused.
