You Can Feel Better
Osteoarthritis is a condition that can cause problems ranging from discomfort to serious disability. But osteoarthritis doesn't have to keep you from living your life. Many things can be done to relieve your pain and help you move more freely. Your treatment can be tailored to your needs and your lifestyle.

Your Treatment Options
Treatment for osteoarthritis starts with changes in daily living that protect the joint. Exercise is important. If you are overweight, losing weight may help. There are also many ways to relieve pain. These include heat and ice, relaxation, and oral and topical medications. You may wish to try complementary therapies such as acupuncture or massage. If none of these treatments work, injections or surgery may help you get relief from pain.
