What happens inside you? When you breathe, air goes in and out of your lungs through airways. When you have asthma, sometimes your airways get smaller. Then it's hard for you to breathe. You cough and make wheezing sounds. This is called a flare-up or attack. Which picture shows healthy lungs? Color those lungs GREEN. Which picture shows lungs having a flare-up? Color those lungs RED.
