Taking Control
Fibromyalgia is frustrating and sometimes limiting. But it is not life threatening. It doesn't lead to arthritis. And it rarely gets worse over time. In fact, this health problem can often be controlled. Exercise, good sleep habits, medication, and support all help you feel better. Following this treatment plan can help you lead an active life.

Don't be afraid to seek support. Keep these tips in mind:
  • If you have fears or concerns about your health, talk with your health care provider.
  • When you need help with tasks, ask family or friends to lend a hand.
