What this drug is used for

Kondremul is used to relieve occasional constipation. It usually produces a bowel movement within 6 to 8 hours.

How should you take this medication?

Shake the bottle well. You can take the full dose all at once, or divide it into smaller doses; but do not take with meals.

* ADULTS

For adults and children over 12, the usual dosage is 2 to 5
tablespoonfuls.

* CHILDREN

For children 6 to 12, the usual dosage is 2 to 5 teaspoonfuls.

* STORAGE

Store at room temperature.

Do not take this medication if...

If you are pregnant, have trouble swallowing, or must remain in bed, do not take this product. If you have stomach pain, nausea, or vomiting, or you've noticed a sudden change in bowel habits lasting for 2 weeks or longer, check with your doctor before taking the product.

Not for children under 6.

Special warnings about this medication

Stop using Kondremul and call your doctor if you develop rectal bleeding or fail to have a bowel movement after taking the medicine. You might have a serious condition.

Used too often or too long, laxatives can become habit-forming. Do not use any laxative for more than a week without your doctor's approval.

Possible food and drug interactions when taking this medication

Do not take this product if you are taking a stool softener laxative such as Colace, Dialose, or Fleet Sof-Lax.
