The three ingredients in Sine-Off clear stuffy nose and sinuses, combat sneezing and runny nose due to a cold, flu, or hay fever, and relieve headache, fever, sore throat, and muscular aches and pains.
The usual dosage is 2 gelatin caplets at bedtime. Doses can be repeated every 6 hours, up to a maximum of 8 caplets each 24 hours. Check with your doctor for children under 12.

Unless your doctor approves, do not take Sine-Off if you have heart disease, high blood pressure, thyroid disease, diabetes, high pressure within the eye (glaucoma), an enlarged prostate gland, or a breathing problem such as emphysema or chronic bronchitis.
Taking more than 8 caplets a day can lead to nervousness, dizziness, or trouble sleeping. The product can also cause overexcitement, especially in children.
On the other hand, Sine-Off makes some people drowsy. Be especially cautious when driving, and when operating machinery.
Do not take Sine-Off for more than 10 days. If your symptoms do not improve or include a fever that lasts more than 3 days--or if new symptoms appear--call your doctor.
You should also check with your doctor immediately if you have a severe sore throat that lasts for more than 2 days, or if your sore throat is accompanied or followed by fever, headache, rash, nausea, or vomiting.
Do not use Sine-Off within 2 weeks of taking a drug classified as an MAO inhibitor, such as the antidepressants Nardil and Parnate.
If you are taking a tranquilizer such as Valium or Xanax, or a sleep aid such as Halcion or Seconal, do not take Sine-Off without your doctor's approval; the combination could cause extreme drowsiness. For the same reason, avoid alcohol while taking this product.
